More than half of JVC Mobile’s new products will ship before the New Year

LONG BEACH, CALIF. – December 23, 2014 (SDG MEDIAWIRE) – JVC Mobile invites new and prospective retailers, as well as industry media, to visit its product showcase at the 2015 International CES, January 6-9. The renowned producer of high-quality, value-conscious electronics for the automotive aftermarket will showcase its 2015 product line in Booth 1711 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“We anticipate an exciting year for the JVC Mobile brand,” said Daniel Jones, product and marketing manager for the company’s car electronics sector. “With more than 20 new products adding to our extensive lineup in 2015 and a stronger focus on building our brand within the specialist retail community, our goal is to exceed the expectations of our retail network while making new dealers and consumers take a fresh look at JVC Mobile.”

JVC Mobile is also making an additional eight new-for-2015 receivers available to retailers and consumers before year’s end. With four receivers shipped in the last two months, more than half of the company’s new products will ship prior to CES.

All of JVC Mobile’s new receivers have been redesigned to create a unique, balanced layout that complements the dash. CD receivers feature a stylish control knob nearest the driver and a centered source key. Double-DIN units center the monitor between side-mounted buttons that can be found by touch.

The KD-R760 (MSRP $109.95), KD-R860BT (MSRP $129.95) and KD-R960BTS (MSRP $139.95) single-DIN units improve on last year’s models with new designs and improved graphics, but their true power is in their connectivity. All feature playback of music from both iPhone® models and Android™-based smartphones over USB, letting users charge their phones and access more control options through the radio. The KD-R860BT and KD-R960BTS are compatible with the JVC Smart Music Control App (available through Google Play), which allows control of many of the radio’s features from a smartphone.

Voice interaction is a primary safety feature on the KD-R860BT and KD-R960BTS. Both models incorporate Bluetooth technology to enable hands-free calling with an included microphone, as well as music playback over Bluetooth from a compatible device. For iPhone users, Siri Eyes Free Mode provides a wealth of information access without the distraction of reading the phone’s screen.

All models feature built-in apps for iHeartRadio™ and Pandora®, which are accessed through a smartphone’s data connection. For an even wider variety of music and media, the KD-960BTS is also SiriusXM-Ready™ (SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner sold separately, subscription required).

JVC Mobile’s Digital Media Receivers, KD-X220 (MSRP $89.95) and KD-X320BTS (MSRP $109.95), also shipping in 2014, offer a similar feature set, sans CD. The XD-X320BTS is a step up from the XD-X220 with Bluetooth and SiriusXM-Ready™ (SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner sold separately, subscription required) compatibility.

The final three receivers ship from JVC Mobile’s Arsenal line to offer customers of retail specialists a “good, better, best” solution. With Android playback over USB, the KD-AR565 (MSRP $104.95) provides a strong entry-level connectivity offering. The KD-AR765S (MSRP $119.95) adds access to Pandora and iHeartRadio through a connected iPhone, and is SiriusXM-Ready™ (SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner sold separately, subscription required).  The KD-AR865BTS (MSRP $139.95) further expands the feature set with built-in Bluetooth.

All of JVC Mobile’s new receivers will be on display at its CES booth. For more information, visit www.jvc.com.
